Would look ace. Is that just a guess or do you know we will put up the new badge there?

It would probably be a standard non-lit sign like the stadium 'wrap' around the walls. The planning app for the Etihad sign was specifically for just 1 illuminated sign. The fixing of a sky blue etihad sign infront of white light is a bit naff when we had exotic named architects on the plot

All the trees in the square holes around the North East side of the stadium have been removed and the square holes concreted in (just like the south side)

No chance should we be thinking about expanding again.

The figures in terms of league crowds are actually for it.

We've filled the away section third tier every time we've got it.

By the time it's completed the current expansion will be two years old and we will have had a full year under Guardiola.

The only real question mark is for cup crowds where we don't get the same level of support for the midweek games.

And if the club eventually work out pricing of cup games appropriately their attendances should come round eventually too - a big if though...

Nah mate we looked at all the mock ups with a Dortmund style kop end Etc but it looked better being symmetrical

I think the ground is the perfect size for league games, if people want tickets they can get them but it still near enough sells out every week.

Cup games we do struggle with and people can't afford it, as much as the club thinks everyone can.

We're a few years off an expansion I think. The fan base won't grow over night.

What size were they mate? Not sure if there is any plant on site but they look like pad foundations.

about three feet square but they're not pads, they've just filled in the square holes where the trees were - each infilled hole was surrounded by the temporary fencing as in my photo - its exactly the same out round the back of south stand extension - see the line of trees in the foreground on this old photo - they're now all gone!

Interestingly I'm been back and had a look at the Landscaping Plan for the North Stand and that said these trees would be retained....
