It's the potential for multiple exit points that does it for me - opens up Bradford Rd and AT Way for those heading west or North. I used to have season parking in Blue car park. It was a lottery getting off, with the main problem being a single exit for cars going in all directions.
The rail line runs between the site and the local roads so bridges / tunnels would be required I know there is one already on the junction of New Viaduct St and Broxton St
so you can park on it and it looks nice, win win! Shame about the tarmac, sales of lucky heather and pegs will have to take up the slack I guess.

I laughed at first with the moss thing. This is actually becoming more of a thing in construction to help with net carbon. Not sure how it would all look if they did it.!
They have already said that there will not be a multi storey car park in the original documents.
