Spoke with two of the workmen at the Arena about the two cranes inside,Told weather permitting the big roof beams start being lifted from this morning.

There’s two huge crawler cranes onsite this morning.

All along I’ve been told there would be a static crane as well as crawler cranes to lift the roof trusses into place because the roof trusses are so big and heavy. Even at the Open Doors public presentation. Maybe they’ve decided the crawler cranes can lift the roof trusses on there own?

I’ll pop down at some point this week if they start lifting the roof trusses into place and get some pictures.

If anyone wants to keep an eye out in it, the link to the live cam is here https://www.cooplive.com/the-arena If you have a tablet you can zoom closer towards the arena. Works on the iPad. Not sure about other makes of tablet. Probably the same on mobile phones?
