Etihad Campus, Stadium and Collar Site Development Thread

Exactly, fill blocks with season ticket holders and leave entire blocks available for match day tickets. The blocks that Burnley sent back sold because they were reasonably priced and people could buy tickets together. It really isn’t rocket science.
No. but until there is another big relocation then it's not really poosible as those seats are already isolated

The worst thing about it is that there isn't an owner in any league who would turn the SL down if offered a place.

They HAVE to keep up with the rest. Any clubs left behind will never get back in.

Proper football is dead.
The Super league WILL happen it's just a question of when.

And as long as it's not a closed shop and all teams/ fans can dream to get in it, I am in all favour of it.

Football evolves, it has to and always has.

That's fine but why does a Arab billioanire have to have a different motivation than any other club. I don't buy the argument that Sheikh Mansour is a front for the UAE but that's a much discussed topic.
He is, Abu Dhabi is 900km2 , it's tiny, he is one of the main men, along with Khaldoon.

I would also add that as an advert for his Nation, it's a incredible success and at quite a small cost considering a vast majority of the worlds population know a great deal about said Nation and football club.

Newcastle is owned by Saudi.

So what?

Who cares apart from some racist bigots' American owners?

All clubs and all owners want to increase their fan bases, why would they not?

We have some games with seats at £30.Including some league games.
Almost all seats have started at £42, £50 and £62 for games this season in the PL depending on the game.

Seats were available at £30 for 3 so far in the last week or so, as well as Arsenal being reduced from £62 to £50.

Fans will start hanging on to buy tickets.

If it’s correct that the North stand level 1 as well as south stand level 1 are going to be standing next season which I think is the right thing to do by the way, then a lot of people are going to be moving in and out of those areas so then could be the time for a relocation. What the club need to do is to communicate any changes a lot earlier than they normally do, a couple of weeks before the season starts is no good.

Those £30 tickets only cropped up in the last week of sale because they were desperately trying to shift them. Until that point they were priced between £50 & £70. The fact that the tickets Burnley returned were priced at £30 and they all sold suggests to me that had all tickets been priced at £30 from the start they would have sold. The pricing structure is bollocks!!!

Absolutely correct. I was being quoted £54 for me and £32 for my 14-year-old only last week, as needed two together.

Not paying £86 to watch Burnley.

Managed to get a couple of comps from someone and they are row two, which won't be a great view but maybe shows the type of tickets the club knows it can't sell?

Anyhow, we're going, it's not cost me anything and looking forward to it.

Just had a quick look, Brentford, Brighton, Palace, Watford all start at £35, think Southampton did too .

Soton was £42 SSL, if you are having a look it is due to being a member and seeing the prices at £5 discounted, or the handful of front row tickets which are cheaper for some games (but not all) which make up less than 1% as most are season cards.

The thing is I’ve had my season ticket for years and years so never really paid attention to match ticket prices but this season my 8 year old wants to come to games with me and the prices they’re asking and the obstacles they’ve put in front of me to get him tickets has left me feeling really disenfranchised. It’s shameful really.

Football clubs are as out of touch with the general public as politicians and political parties are.
