Etihad Campus, Stadium and Collar Site Development Thread

The Metrolink is OK to a point but it doesn't do the job now and certainly won't when the ground expands.

It's easily forgotten that the Rags will shortly have three convenient Metrolink stations on different lines (Alty, Eccles and Trafford Centre) plus their own railway station right at the ground. We have one Metrolink station on one line.

Very true. Our ground is very poorly served by public transport.
 
what used to be the abbatoir on riverpark road had its own railway station as well which i think is still there

Probably in the Academy somewhere where it will give access to an underground tunnel complete with train.
Thi will connect straight to the tunnel club so the privileged don't have to mix with the commoners outside the ground.
 
Isn't there a train station further down Alan Turing way? Over Ashton Old Road?

Is it too far to walk?
