Both of them have planning permission for demolition but I can't see any dates mentioned for completion. Put the reference numbers into the planning portal.View attachment 84058

100% - the gasholder site is much bigger than you think. Would give the potential for multiple access/exit points, which might help with congestion on AT Way. We can only hope.A couple of these would be ideal along with a copy of the Pink Car park that holds buses at the Collar site, ideal spot where the former gasholders are
If there was any sense left in the world that would be tarmacced and made into mixed parking for buses toward direction of bury Oldham Rochdale Heywood ashton and cars taken off street with new none parking zone. Also probably room next to the tracks for a decent sized station. The two areas combined make up quite a plot of land. (marked in red, it's from the planning portal)

Tarmac ?? Should never be used for that type of area/usage.If there was any sense left in the world that would be tarmacced and made into mixed parking for buses toward direction of bury Oldham Rochdale Heywood ashton and cars taken off street with new none parking zone. It's the potential for multiple exit points that does it for me - opens up Bradford Rd and AT Way for those heading west or North. I used to have season parking in Blue car park. It was a lottery getting off, with the main problem being a single exit for cars going in all directions. The two areas combined make up quite a plot of land. The rail line runs between the site and the local roads so bridges / tunnels would be required I know there is one already on the junction of New Viaduct St and Broxton StIt's the potential for multiple exit points that does it for me - opens up Bradford Rd and AT Way for those heading west or North. so you can park on it and it looks nice, win win! Shame about the tarmac, sales of lucky heather and pegs will have to take up the slack I guess.Tarmac ?? Should never be used for that type of area/usage.
Modular mesh undergrown with a grass mix is practical, attractive and kinder for the planet.
It will go well with the living moss wrap for the stadium.
Green is good....so is the
BLACK FLAG BOYCOTT !!
One for the price of two my lucky love !!so you can park on it and it looks nice, win win! Shame about the tarmac, sales of lucky heather and pegs will have to take up the slack I guess.
Note the living walls ala the stadium wrap !!
I laughed at first with the moss thing. This is actually becoming more of a thing in construction to help with net carbon. Not sure how it would all look if they did it.!Note the living walls ala the stadium wrap !!
They have already said that there will not be a multi storey car park in the original documents.Plenty of room for a new exit route from the site and two multi-storey car parks and one bus multistorey car park
Maybe another part of the site , not connected to the North StandThey have already said that there will not be a multi storey car park in the original documents.
