Went to the Visitor Centre today.

TBH there isn't much to see. Certainly nothing we haven't already seen. Just a few large copies of some renders and an aerial picture of the site on the office walls. You can look through the windows and see the site from ground level. That's it TBH. There are two BAM staff members who were very polite and helpful. The observation platform isn't open to the general public. However there are plans to erect a live webcam overlooking the site.

First set of pictures. More to follow, plus some videos.

I'm assuming the white steel frame going up is for the rectangular building housing the indoor training pitches, which is also part of the circular building, located in the middle of the training academy.(see render below)

Zoomed in using photoshop(messing about) Not the sharpest picture, but the subsoil/base for the pitches is starting to be put down. I'll post some of the other pics and all the short videos tomorrow. Too late now.

12 months time, when it nears completion the national press, Sky Sports etc are going to have to give this some attention, and I think our club will then be looked upon in a new regard.

12 months time, when it nears completion the national press, Sky Sports etc are going to have to give this some attention, and I think our club will then be looked upon in a new regard.

And hopefully by then Marv,we`ll also be sticking two fingers up at all those bastards who claimed we`d never see our bank balance in the black !!

Patrick Viera came down to Bredbury Blues last night for a special Supporters Club Branch Meeting at Stockport Sports Village - I asked him outright if he'd seen ANY plans or models of any stadium expansion and he said no - given his involvement in the Etihad Campus work I'd have thought he'd have seen something, so may be any plans really are supper secret... :-(
