If only George Weah could turn back the clock.

I wonder what he made of the Platt Lane Training complex when he signed?

And this was after the refurb.

To think the 1st team players used to train on that, with the public on the other side of the fence.

There must be some stories out-there. ;-)

That's not that bad, it just looks poor in comparison.

I used to watch City in training at Platt Lane when I was off work. I remember Skip (Tony Book) and Alan Ball taking training sessions

Steve Lomas used to be a player I enjoyed watching in training because he was so enthusiastic. My best memory of Platt Lane is of leaning on a rail watching a Youth Team match talking about City with Paul Dickov.

So the Youth Stadium is left open at the back of the stands above seat level ?

Standing room there mate, so you can add half a metre to the pics.. ;-)
But at a guess there might be some nets or so making sure that we got a few balls left within the stadium.

Cheers mate, I was thinking more of the weather I think we are all gonna be soaking wet and almost completely unprotected from the wind and rain. I know its outdoors but a stadium in Manchester not enclosed at the back of the stands ??

Square drainage pipes were all the rage in the 1990's.

A couple of minutes to kill.

They do a cracking job of aerial construction updates, including the new training complex. http://www.airviews.info/index.html (Nov updates aren't up yet)

Day 3.

First Team facilities.

A very interesting insight into what the players wanted. No wonder nobody wants to leave. ;-)

Once again, change to HD 1080P and enlarge screen. Much better.
