I stand corrected on these thoughts.
I thought the campus was the stadium, Collar site, and land surrounding the stadium, and not the new training academy.
If this is the case, then the training academy will have it's own sponsorship/s.
We already know the bridge is going to generate revenue via advertising along it.(and the odd Rag jibe)
If you believe the stories, Aon have agreed to sponsor United's training ground for £160mill. The deal is for £30mill a season over 8 years. It is currently with Platini, UEFA, and Gill.(arf!)
Now, just think for 1 minute.
Where is United's training ground and what access is there to it? Exactly. AON might as well have sponsored Colditz .
Contrast and compare it to City's new training academy. Next to the stadium(leisure destination and campus), virtually in the centre of Manchester, and visible to everyone.
So, if United's training ground is worth £160mill in sponsorship, how much is City's worth?(on top of the current Etihad sponsorship deal)
