Like to listen to this Pete Bradshaw explaining the ongoings at the Etihad Campus. The guy seems very excited, loves to talk about the project, and he knows every detail. It's nice to listen to as he never seems to hesitate telling about the project, without the use of an autocue. Makes the updates worthwhile watching.

Good post.....shows such great enthusiasm for the project.

Pete a Hyde lad? He talks a bit like Hatton. On that first vid he said 'centre cirkle' at around 2.30 haha. Good lad though. Not sure why players choose the changing room design though. Must be bull as most move on within 5 years. And was it just me that thought having the room and hole in the floor above where the players get changed is kinda wierd. "world's biggest glory hole" like. Can't wait to see the pitches laid and trees planted. Should look special.

I like the idea of the trees. BAM built the new Co-op HQ which is of a very high build quality, but the landscaping around that building is very poor.

best be local or national trees (that offer habitat & conservation value)

Just when you think you have got your head around just how special this place is going to be you see something else new that makes you go wow!

An incredible project!

I thought they were evergreens specially grown in Germany I'm sure I've seen a documentary on them.

I thought yesterday's update said it was a mixture, this followed extensive consultation with local birds, butterflies and moths.

That'll be in the next attack article written about us

As spectacular as it is, but how many indigenous trees are in and around Manchester City's new training facility!!
City are not prepared to give home grown trees the opportunity to flourish

I noticed the description on that was very vague except it was what the players wanted, i was thinking maybe they requested a kind of a fireman's sliding pole to come down from the lounge to the changing room, remember some of the players enjoying with one of them on a US tour of a fire station haha

What better way to end of a great day. :-)
