Etihad Player of the Year

Regardless of what happened, silva was miles more effective than yaya this year. Yaya got lots of goals, but silva ran more games and was more important to us.

The acid test for me DD, is which player would I least like to leave the club, and the answer is always David Silva. Ya Ya, Kompers and Aguero are all greats on the world stage, but Silva is just about unique. The most gifted player we've ever had

Yep, I'd agree with that totally. Yaya would be fourth in my list of players who I'd least like to lose. Silva top, no question.

I've a feeling he's going to set the world on fire this World Cup.

Yaya is head and shoulders our player of the year regardless of the birthday saga. However, I'm punting Fernandinho for next best, he has been majestic!

Yaya
Fernandinho
Silva
Aguero (would be top if not for injuries)
Zaba

Top5

Bloody hell, you know it's silly season when I'm agreeing with Dismal, but I agree. I said Silva before Cakegate and I'm sticking with him.

Yaya is the easy choice for the casual fan because of the goals, but for influence on games and consistency it has to be Merlin.

Yes, silly season, what with your track record of getting things right and all that.

Lol, coming from a man who wanted a manager out who won our first title in 44 years and who also said a 3rd division play off was a better moment than Aguero winning the league with the last kick of the season, you know all about getting it wrong, son! :-)
