Regardless of what happened, silva was miles more effective than yaya this year. Yaya got lots of goals, but silva ran more games and was more important to us.

Bloody hell, you know it's silly season when I'm agreeing with Dismal, but I agree. I said Silva before Cakegate and I'm sticking with him.

Yaya is the easy choice for the casual fan because of the goals, but for influence on games and consistency it has to be Merlin.

Love all the team my favourite being Merlin and he did have a wonderful season, but you cannot argue that the brilliance of Yaya really played a huge part in our success especially in the last 6 games. People question his attitude but he played an incredible amount of games.
