DHL tried to use that affiliation with them to help faciliate a closer relationship with Nike, that they hoped would ultimately lead to an insanely lucrative exclusivity deal for delivery of all Nike products in the US; it failed.
Regarding us - Amazon buying the shirt and stadium sponsorship rights would be a good investment for them; the platform, the colour scheme plus the scope for slimy Americanised adverts featuring KDB, emphasising his perfect delivery etc....
As others have said, detaching from Etihad and attracting another independent multinational company to fill their sponsorship void to will go a long way to further legitimising the club’s reputation, post-FFP chaos.
Guess it would depend if they are going to grow their broadcasting of the Premier League. They wouldn’t want to invest in any club if they want to gain the rights to most games,
