Just voted, and done the yougov exit poll on the way out. The vast majority I've spoken to at work is voting out, but we'll definitely remain. The reason I think we'll remain is fear. The Jocks voted to stay in the union due to the fear of going it alone, and I think the country will do the same with this vote - scared of change. Also, the Remain camp done a decent job of playing the racism card against the other side. Just like 'It's a Knockout' they waited until right at the end, then came out with the racism card. Fair play!

As for the rest of the worlds population, you would have to have some selection criteria (unless you want to draw lots) and that selection would be a form of discrimination. Again it may well be fair to discriminate on whatever criteria is used, but its still discrimination.

It might discriminate on ability to do a job but all jobs do that anyway. It would treat all potential immigrants the same though, regardless of nationality. They'd all have to meet the same criteria whether from France or Indonesia.

Well I have. One for me and 2 for my parents. I had no idea it was illegal to be honest.

Our economy is very strong at the moment and ever growing. We are on course to reach Germany in being the #1 economy in Europe and even gain ground on Japan to reach #4 on the planet if the trend continues. Why would people complain about that because if we manage to remain that's what will continue to be aimed for?

GDP Is irrelevant in so many ways, look at GDP per capita,then look how our GDP is distributed between rich and poor and then look at how expensive it is to live in this country. Increased GDP with increased population isn't a utopia. We need away from Europe and a decent government that is forward thinking, today we can get rid of one but we won't take it because the uncertainty is too much for some.

If you leave the EU and then have to negotiate a trade deal with the US, won't you get similar or worse terms than the TTIP?
