If you were ever an employer (let's face it, it's unlikely), would you class it as being discriminatory towards the thick people if you chose the best candidate?yes you would, you are at least discriminating against everyone who isnt british. (Thats discrimination against the 660 million who currently have the right to live here)
then if you use an australian type system, you are discriminating those with the wrong education and those who cant speak english.
Now you may think that level of discrimination is a good thing and you are perfectly entitled to think and argue that, but to argue that its not discrimination is very silly.
Whenever Cameron & Osborne, with the assistance of Goldman Sachs, decide what it's going to be.
We were talking about immigration and as British people wouldn't be part of that process but all people who wished to move here for whatever reason could be treated the same. I wouldn't argue for a points based system either and we don't really need one either.
Since most of the immigrants that seem to piss brexiters off are the ones who do unskilled , low paid , minimum wage menial work such as sports direct and the like .
So with that in mind , how would the Australian points based system work exactly ?
Would we be bringing highly skilled people from all over the world to work these minimum wage unskilled jobs ?
Or would we stop training our own young people, cut university and college courses and let them do the shit jobs and bring in all our doctors , lawyers and engineers from abroad ready trained ? .
I suppose with that option we could save on schools as well , just teach them enough to be obedient factory fodder just like the good old days
Like 95% of the world?
Had about 3 phone calls from the remain camp this afternoon trying to persuade me to vote for them. Seems a bit strange. You'd have thought if they wanted to make a difference they may have called before I had already voted.
Wouldn't be the first on the left to say democracy isn't working when they aren't in power to be very fair.
