Nope. Cheaper labour is resulting in employers having the balls to tear up terms and conditions and fly in the faces of our toothless unions.

Ah you mean the influx of immigrants working for low pay is giving employers enough power to bully?

It's a view I suppose.

Never mind, Mr Farage says workers are going to be paid MORE when they vote out, AND businesses are going to make more too, and we'll spend on the NHS too. Happy days.

leave = imigration blah blah, take back control blah blah

remain = security, job losses, economic crash blah blah

Up to now nothing new being said.

Nonsence. The EU has strengthened employment rights. If your Union is toothless then have a word with them and / or encourage more people to join!

Not at all
Forget the fact I've had dealings with the woman, she has said nothing about the EU she just complains against the current government, the past government and the Leave group

Her and Nicola sturgeon have just been giving boris Johnson digs. I've learnt fuck all from this really, I wish Cameron was on to explain why he said Britain would proper outside the eu.

No you can't, if you're actually asking permission.

They are other factors to be considered.

I was answering your question and I don't suppose we'd be any worse off once the dust settles, in fact we probably would grow when we will be free to negotiate with the rest of the world on our own terms as opposed to sitting and waiting for 27 other countries to get in line.

Just my opinion.

Similarly I don't foresee WW111 starting as a direct result of our leaving, nor do I see the Irish peace pact imploding, or all British nationals being driven back home whilst we round up all the foreigners and shoo them out too.

I also don't think all the money we save will be invested directly into the NHS and I do assume all the inward investment projects from the EU will continue to be funded directly by the British Government instead of indirectly via the EU.

There are far too many lies being told on both sides but I'm afraid I am still all for leaving when I weigh things up. Just the same as you come to the conclusion it's better to remain when you weigh things up.

Fair enough mate, fair enough.

I don't go for the "lies" line personally. I have quite a lot of respect for our politicians on both sides actually. Contrary to the view that seems to prevail around here that they are all scumbags on the make, I think the vast majority go into politics because they are passionate about our country and they want to make a real positive difference. Of course no-one is whiter than driven snow and from time to time perhaps some of them allow their passion to get their point across to stray into exaggeration or even can be downright misleading. But I dont think many of them are actually evil at heart and I don't think many deliberately tell outright lies.

I mean, even Boris' "the NHS will be £350m/w better off" is imho not really a lie per se, it's just a ridiculous hypthesis/extrapolation. I am not offended by it, I just think it's ridiculous.

Correct if we leave the tories will love to tear up workers rights and implement laws to stop the unions more than they have already.

I'm not a Tory, but the reason behind that is that he was posturing to the EU when trying to get some terms changed. He more or less had to look confident we could walk away and go it alone.
It's akin to walking away from the car showroom telling them you've got another car to look at and you can take or leave the one you've just looked at. Bravado.

At least that's the common theory people have put forwards.

I'm a union man. My dad used to sing that in the early 80s. Move with the times.

I have sat on the fence throughout, listening to both sides of the argument both on tv and on here. In fact there has been batter debate on here than on tv.
But the lecturing and 'holier than thou' position of the Remain people have made me fall right into the Leave camp

That's probably right, but you never know with that Cameron.
