Everyone needs to look at how the EU has evolved to possibly understand the problems it faces now and in the future. Originally 6 members with a further 6 joining in the early 1970 s I believe is the backbone of the institution and the idea was a good one at the time. However we now have something like 26+ members many of the newcomers being net contributors and motions to increase this even more. So basically Europe has got much bigger and with it impossible to manage as a group.
So you know as it stands today the very Union is being stretched for a number of those members not just the UK, the difference being the UK can opt out when others cannot. It is failing and unelected organisation which cannot continue in its present format.
Does the UK become the first to see the light and act or will the whole fiasco and tragedy of the borders situation evolving daily force a change.
A great idea that is now unworkable in my opinion.
