I have sat on the fence throughout, listening to both sides of the argument both on tv and on here. In fact there has been batter debate on here than on tv.
But the lecturing and 'holier than thou' position of the Remain people have made me fall right into the Leave camp

It sounds a bit like how your dislike of Supporters Clubs has helped to drive up the number of Blues wishing to join them!

I'm on ITV+1, but our politicians (at the top end) are getting more and more like Americans. Prepared phrases, key words, body language... it's a real shame because it's becoming about presentation skills.

And we're back
Sturgeon attacking the tories again rather than saying why staying in the EU is right.
She just wants the EU in power to control the tories as she cant and labour never will

I'm not sure they really want the EU, they just don't want the tories. Quite pathetic really.

This Scottish Jimmy cranky is a joke. Please God boris is our next pm. He will be our best pm since Churchill.

I'm in favour of a points based immigration systems, but many of our more famous entrepreneurs would probably never have got in... (some might say that's good!!)

Ah you mean the influx of immigrants working for low pay is giving employers enough power to bully?

It's a view I suppose.

Never mind, Mr Farage says workers are going to be paid MORE when they vote out, AND businesses are going to make more too, and we'll spend on the NHS too. Happy days.
Not to fussed about being paid more tbh. More to do with employees not to being so easily fucked in the arse because of a pool of the cheap, imported labour that some employers have readily at hand.
Nonsence. The EU has strengthened employment rights. If your Union is toothless then have a word with them and / or encourage more people to join!
Bullshit. Jobs are being readily taken by cheaper foreign nationals whilst the unions stand by and watch terms and conditions being torn up.
Local government has a free reign to rewrite the rule book at present and they're going about it with gusto.

I do wonder, with things cameron has said in the past is, is he playing devil's advocate saying its best to remain so he and uk don't get blamed when eu goes tits up which it will, he's already said he won't go for a third term as pm so if we vote to stay he keeps his job, if we leave he can resign as he surely must and no problem, he promised us and gave us a chance to vote, labour said they would but didn't ! We'll find out in 30 years when official papers released to those kf us still alive after ww3

This is trying to be impartial.....

The Leave arguement is justifiably blown open by using the £350/day figure. I said very very early in they should've concentrated on the £160m/day bett figure. It would have served them better. Technically we do give £350m but we get back £190m in rebates and inward investment. I would prefer that the inward investment was controlled by the UK as opposed to Brussels. That said £190m/day whilst us peanuts to some, but a regular daily bonus of that amount would add up.

Back to the debate.... Eagle, Rudd and Sturgeon are not performing to the level of Stewart, Johnson and Levison. All the Remainers have done is personally attack Johnson, they're not doing tear well.

I've turned it off, got bored of the attacks. Learnt nothing from the hour I watched.

I have some sympathy for that view... and think it's true in some cases - although many firms are bypassing immigrants altogether and just outsourcing to India etc.

However...

A LOT of immigrants are doing jobs that many of our own have felt 'beneath' them. Cleaners, clothing sweatshops etc. I've come across plenty of people who simply refuse to contemplate such jobs, and of those that do, their productivity and attitude really has been poor. It pains me to say it, but a great number of immigrants could teach some of our scallies a lesson.

Without doubt there are some employers who will exploit immigrant workers, can't deny it and yes, it can 'undermine' the value of British workers but the truth is a mixture of both circumstances.
