No one is against immigration. Everybody should be against uncontrolled immigration.

Not remotely no and that is an insult to so many as to not be funny. As an immigrant who moved with no assets I have never considered myself slave labour,nor friends in the UK and Aus from all over the world. I am not sure what would most offend being thought of as leeches or being thought of as slaves. The key thing is freedom to move and take opportunities.

It is no surprise that this campaign has split the nation up with the older generation favouring leave and the younger more tolerant voting stay. I accept that there are some exceptions to the general rule of thumb but in general that is the picture of how this is. The sad thing is once all this is over I can see more trouble ahead as more far right groups start to gain more support regardless of the outcome come Thursday.

what a load of rubbish. there could be up to 20m people voting to leave are they all racist then ? I'm young, just finished university and I'm voting leave, lots of people i know are. this is the reason labour is losing voters, the majority of working class places have concerns with immigration, to label all of them racist is laughable.

once all this is over ? you mean like in the eu now where the far right are looking to more likely then ever to win in a lot of countries

I am not wanting to suggest that you are stooping to the depths that some of the REMAINERs on here have - I have found your debating to have been thoughtful and calm. That said I take exception to the first part of your post that I have highlighted. This is because there is an inference that her attacker was acting out of some LEAVE motive - and in this sense I politely suggest that you are in danger of making political gain - which I know that you would not wish t be the case.

Jo had been working with and trumpeting the cause of migrant for a long time and was deeply respected across all political parties for her work - her efforts were not some recent trigger since the referendum was announced. The disgusting and I am sure mentally unbalanced scum that murdered had/has nothing to do with the Leave campaign.

The 2nd part that I have highlighted is because it follows from my post to which you were replying that this 'respectful way' was not in fact what was happening - it was cheap political point scoring which I would have expected you to roundly condemn.

I think it's hopelessly naive to assume the UK won't be forced to join Schengen and the Euro at some point. Unless.you don't believe a federal Europe is the objective, I don't see how you can maintain that stance.

And the 98% means nothing on its own, it would more interesting to know what the 2% was.

I think you're confusing me with someone else, I've called Farage a racist and singled out a poster for a view on immigrants most of whom I assume would be white Europeans as this is an EU thread. So not sure what you're on about, nor the fields comment either .

Because I despise his thinly veiled racism and how he has tried to hijack this whole issue with lies to try and pursue his own very right agenda. individual party members mentioned but not mentioned???

Simple maths pal, according to the book of BHLs most of these financial migrants are here doing low paid shit jobs our lazy bastards on the dole wont do.

So lets give them the minimum wage, they pay NO tax on that because its well below the personal tax allowance do they ?, but hold fire a min, dont they have kids at home so get working tax credits and child allowance, housing benefit, free health care and use of all public services, and ALL without paying one penny piece.
Nor is it taking any account of those who send money back home, those working for cash or here illegally, now put a f*cking benefit to that.

It is an obsession for sure, the Leave campaigners being castigated ad nauseum seem to be in a minority of three, all of which
are either Tory or UKIP. For some unfathomable reason a goodly part of the Labour parliamentary party who are for out, are being left alone,
and the most astounding thing is the far left opinion, from the likes of the Socialist workers Party, is fiercely anti EU, and they're not being called
racist xenophobic bastards.

I heard it said that nobody listens to this voice of the disaffected poor child, maybe we have listened too much. Get you shit together son, you have been given enormous opportunities to make a wonderful life for yourself - if you cannot do that it isn't any immigrants fault
