Is it fair to say the working class vote is to leave and the middle class to remain.

The working classes will continue take the brunt of the negative consequences from the freedom of movement, and the unaffected neoliberal middle classes can carry on virtue signalling.

Now is no time to start talking about the corporate tickets at the etihad!

The working class take the brunt of the negative consequence of everything, just as any hit to the economy on leave would hit the writing class hardest

I'm annoyed how fuckwits can influence those who might be somewhat naive. Whenever the discussion would arise, I'd say my views without trying to influence hers. Now I hear that. Jesus.

That'll stick with me if we choose to remain. How many others have voted to remain because "they don't know what they're doing"?

Mate, dont give her too much of a hard time!....I'm sure there is many on both sides in that position! Politics isnt the easiest thing to understand at the best of times, even more so when its as difficult to separate the truth from the lies, like in this debate....I voted "in" for very clear reasons but can understand that human natural will always push a person to go for what they "know" than go for the "unknown", especially if you dont have a strong view either way....Me and the wife dont talk politics, so I still dont know what she's voted!;) ...but will be having words if I find out she voted "leave" he!;) I've personally just got to that point where we just need to know, so we can get on with life.....and the transfer window!;)

This is the craziest Canaan I have ever known. IDS going for the council estates to vote his way. Do these council estates realise what would happen to them under a bozz/ids regime

Can't get over the traditional left voting to get totally fucked over

I think all that shows is how Labour have drifted so far away from their traditional core voters.

Pleased to see Oxford, where I live, show up as so pro-Remain in the BBC's analysis of what they are predicting different areas to turn out as. Have felt that a Leave vote was hopeless with all of the Remain posters up around me but it seems to be an outlier in a national sense.

I suspect there is probably quite a clear correlation between the votes of working class/ middle / upper, however I think the anomalies will be those that have a strong conscience, History shows us that a fairly large proportion of the 'I'm alright Jack' brigade have ultimately lived to regret their life choices. I have very little sympathy.

I'm not going to divulge my 'class' as it matters nothing to me. The main question I asked myself before voting was whether I was considering the welfare and standard of living for current and future UK residents as a whole, or whether the foundation of my views and principles were skewed towards self-interest. I think whatever the result, I can honestly say that I voted with upcoming and future residents at the absolute forefront of my mind.

ERRR...If I am to gather that you are the boss....then they are probably kissing your arse, and will revert to Remain as soon as they are out of earshot.

if that is right - I hope WW told them which way to vote and the consequences of not following orders..........

I have always thought that there is no point in having power if you do not abuse it....
