I still rate Torres. That would have been brilliant. His runs and ideas are there but is the finish that is always lacking.

Which is kind of the important part.

GOALSpain (Cesc Fabregas, 64 mins) 1-1 Italy
Spain hit back immediately. Andres Iniesta has a shot from distance saved by Gianluigi Buffon, but in the next attack, the Italy keeper is powerless to stop Cesc Fabregas firing his side level. It was made, though, by David Silva's superb little pass to the edge of the box to put Fabregas in. The nominated "shadow number nine" does the business for his side.

See now, Torres uses his arm. If that was Balotelli you know exactly what would have been said.

Your constant whining is getting irritating.
At least I'm sticking up for Balotelli. And come on, "constant"?

Torres hasn't got a reputation for losing the plot though! Mario knows that people and refs look for him but he only fans the flames at times.

At some point you have to blame the absolute **** referees though for their enormous inadequacy.

We going to have this all tournament about how Balotelli is unfairly persecuted?

He had a 5/10 game and came off rightly for a more experienced striker who scored the crucial goal. A striker who had a much better club season than Balotelli.

Did anyone see the clock then moving really fast?! Don't know what the hell happened there
