I remember 2006 well, some very iffy shit went on in that world cup. If I remember correctly Italy won one match 1-0 which allowed them to progress with a clear offside goal. An offside goal only allowed because an opposition player was of the pitch injured and being treated behind the goal. Its was very very fucking dodgy that decision.

I'm hoping Mario bags a couple. I think Italy could go far in this tournament. Who will Spain play up front? Torres?

Read one paper and it has Negrado as the striker. Can still get odds of 50's for top scorer. Superb prices if he starts the tournamont as first choice.

That was Italy-Australia 1-0 (Totti on penalty), but that wasn't a penalty to give imho. But who cares anymore, lets leave the past and we should talk about today!

That is in Euro 2008 and went AGAINST Italy.

It was the same phase of play and player was still active though. The incident I'm on about the player was actually of the pitch being treated and was inactive in a separate phase of play.
