ESPN is obsessing over Balotelli. They've run about 3 segments on him since the match ended.

The ginger yank pundit is being a prick, trying to get Rossi to say he wouldn't want to play with Mario.
Alexi Lalas is a moaning, no-talent twat who sits there whining about players with 1000 times his talent not behaving the way his toady ass would.

If he was laying in the street with two broken legs and vehicles bearing down on him, I would take the time to piss on his face because he deserves to go out with some dude pissing on his face.

Nope. Cassano was fantastic, Mario dreadful.
The ITV pundits said at half-time that they were both doing OK.

I don't always go with the pundits, but as two of them were Patrick Viera and Roberto Martinez, in this case I'll go along with them rather than with you.

Actually, I wasn't that impressed with either, but that might have been due to the tactics Italy were using.
They were doing what their manager instructed. It was fairly obvious that he wanted specific things from each of them and that's what he got.

-- Sun Jun 10, 2012 2:16 pm --

He's on television every week acting like a moral crusader crying about how awful some footballer is so not really.

Torres was absolutely abject and we all knew he would be

Miracle he got in the squad let alone used as a sub infront of Llorente

Right, get Di Natale off. He's missed a chance. Got to sub him now, right?

That's been the plan so far! Silva's chance even made a goal and he STILL went off! ;)

Beside that pass Silva wasn't good at all. Spain played better and bit faster when he was subbed

Can't disagree more. When he was subbed they lost their cutting edge and struggled to make chances beyond long shots.

Don't be ridiculous. His game was good, but he dwelt on the ball too long for his chance

Cassano did well too. All the italians played well, but it was the Dreadful finishing of Torres which let them off

Well it will be interesting to see the contrast and the wankathon that will go on with Welbeck and Carroll and Rooney.

i stopped watching after balotelli and silva went...

like watching a bunch of babys

torture is the word for that "game"
