ireland are not the only team who have had players not born in the country they now represent,having said that always remember jimmy greaves saying if you have a weeks holiday in ireland you can be called up to the side....

IIRC, Big Jack's Ireland side hardly had an Irish accent in it, apart from Packie Bonner.

Townsend, Houghton, Cascarino, etc. The list was endless.
 
This is why i can't stand Spain, i can't stand Barca and i hope both teams win nothing for a very long time:

Seems it Fabregas' turn to blame something other than their boring, strikerless team when they are unable to beat the opposition.

No one else seems to have said a word about the pitches, but to the Spanish their 'lamentable'.

'I don't want to complain, but we deserve much more. It is lamentable that we have to play on a pitch like this.

when Prandelli took Mario off I thought - I hope Italy lose now, then I thought if they do Prandelli might get sacked and Roberto might take over the national team, then I thought if that happened we might get Guardiola, then I thought none of this will happen - and I was right.
