Some people think slagging them in England shirts makes them even bigger blues. I'm a top blue me when Welbeck scored I just shouted fluke then sulked. I'm such a top blue myself.

I don't think it is as thought out as you make it sound. You can't help how you feel and when welbeck scored my heart sank. Just the way it is. Also every time they showed rooney clapping and smiling, it knocked me sick. It isn't a conscious effort, it's just instinctive.
If Welbeck did such a deed which saved a loved one, would your heart sink? No.
Not one of those lads represented their clubs tonight, they played for England.

You are flogging a dead horse, mate.
Best give up trying to push logic and reason, because nobody here is buying.
If that winner had been scored by a City player,we would be having a mass power wank, but it was scored by a rag,so clearly it must be a fluke.
Bonkers,but typical Bluemoon thinking.

I am more than happy that my Nations team has won, I am not that bothered about which clubs players play for, it does not matter really.

We have a very long way to go, but there are some young players come through, pleased with the result tonight
watching them celebrate the third goal was great, all young 'new' lads
Young lads that are not as good as other nations young lads.
maybe not

but better than seeing the 'golden generation' out there

Good finish by Welbeck, but Ashley Young is shit sandwich. Without the bread.

I really don't understand your point Pige.

Rooney is a **** who hates city, isn't gracious enough in defeat to congratulate us and loves giving it big to us fans. How can you celebrate anything he does?

Do you think he is a **** or some sort of pantomime villain who's a naughty boy saying cheeky words about our club?

-- Fri Jun 15, 2012 10:36 pm --

Anything is better than that

Wtf are you prattling on about?
Shreck didn't fucking play tonight.
So he didn't do anything for us to celebrate.
Do try and keep up.

With all due respect, I don't think you're understandng my point. I'm saying that it is all instinctive. So in your bizarre hypothetical scenario, I would say it is safe to assume that instinctively I would be delighted if welbeck saved one of my loved ones (I can't believe we're even discussing this bullshit) because instinctively the welfare of a loved one would naturally be way more important than mere football affiliations.
So the point I was making regarding tonight is that instinctively, just going on how I felt, that my dislike of united players must be more important to me than my desire to see England win. I didn't choose to feel that way when he scored, I just did. I know in a sense it is petty but I don't feel responsible because it was just an automatic emotional response.
