Living in Pembrokeshire and having 3 small children, lack of funds etc has always restricted me to coming up for games. I'd love to be able to go week in week out.
The only games I get to attend have been europa league matches in recent years due to the fact I cannot get weekend EPL tickets. Still love the atmosphere of a cold european mid week night. Took my now 10 year old to the Hamburg game for his first City match 'well what can I say'. Went to my first away match at Swansea last season, what an experience, although the team did not turn up on the day!
No doubt will come up for a couple of Champs league games this year that go on general sale :0)

Not having a go mate but how did you get a Swansea away ticket as these were only sold to people with loyalty points?

was thinking that myself....I couldn't get a ticket to that.

Hate the EPL term too

Sorry for EPL reference, I will try my best not to use it again.
I work for a national co. and one of my colleagues in MCR is season ticket holder and regular at Etihad got them for me. I live an hour away from Swansea so as soon as they came up to Prem I was all over it trying to get a couple of tickets.
BTW I used to live in Stockport as a kid and used to attend back in the day before I get any abuse.

Ok mate no worries. As long as the ticket originally went to somebody who qualified for it is what concerned me and as long as he didn't make money selling it. All is good

The rags forget when they have 20,000+ empty seats for league cup games. This comp should have been done away with years ago. Villa will bring very few fans & if we get 35,000 we have done well. But we are in this comp whether we like it or not. All true fans should try their best to turn up. Any fan who does not turn up should stand aside when we get to the final & let those who do turn up have the tickets.

I think it's a great opportunity for teams like City to give games to players who need them & a very worthwhile competition.

I don't want us to end up like rags who think some tournaments are beneath them. Sure, it's difficult in the early stages because of European games, & the League also has to be treated as more important but if we can squeeze through the early rounds, I want to win it. It's not the Champions League but it's still well worth winning.
