Dont suppose anyone has any "cheap" ways of getting to madrid? Best ive found is £110 but from gatwick...

Fly to Alicante, Barcelona, Malaga, or Seville and get the train to Madrid. It will still probably cost about £100 but saves you the time and cost of going down to Gatwick.

We did Madrid for 200 quid 2 nights for 2.from Luton mind.

I looked at various airports in Spain but the train fare was over £100 return so cancelled out the savings, is there a cheap option that I am not finding ?

As a general rule, most fans look for 3 things
Cheap travel
Quick connections
A quality experience.
However, unless you live within a few miles of a low cost airport, you can usually only have 2 of the 3.
In fact, I can only think of the German trips where I can honestly say that nothing could have been improved.
For example, we drove to Ajax/PSG/Feyenoord, which made all the trips extremely cheap. However, I would have rather paid more on a flight and spent less time in a car.
For Madrid, I'm still deciding between Spike's Day trip for £309 or a cheap flight from Gatwick, which regardless of price, will also include
Travel from/to Stockport,
An early 7am return flight, meaning virtually no sleep post match.
Three days off work

Alicante liverpool
Whole trip available for about £100
No idea why anyone would use a Southern airport when it's so cheap from Liverpool and so easy to get to on the train.
