Have you been asleep for years? It's not been an actual 'champions' league for ages, it's been the top four/five.
The Europa league winners don't have to have won a trophy, it just so happens they changed the rules so it gives teams like your rags, who aren't good enough to gain qualification by a league placing, a last chance by winning the fa cup.

Secondly, football snobbery like this winds me up. Who makes the rules on how football should be played? I wouldnt mind City launching it to our very own big fella when we are chasing goals rather than a thousand passes.
I coach u10s footy and see the snobbery all the time, nothing up with just getting it in the area every now n then

Genuinely the most disgraceful commentary I’ve ever heard. It was like MUTV/Fanzone.
