it’s not just the media. when it comes to football you have a certain erm, reputation.

All the bollocks about City making the league a procession is just that, bollocks.
Our league and fa don't give a monkey's about Euro games. Euro leagues teams are given special dispensation. Just look at the preparation time Madrid had for the 2nd leg.

In the CL only City were a proper contender from the PL Arsenal are a good side but it was clear we lacked CL nous - we were a shadow of our PL team in the CL, very edgy and you can't tell me teams like Porto and Lens are better than what Arsenal face in the PL yet caused Arsenal problems. So there was that.

Newcastle and the Rags were a shambles. We 'missed' having the Dippers in the CL as they could have won it (but obviously I'm glad they weren't in it).

Next season City are City and will always be a contender, Arsenal will have gained more experience and should be better, Dippers will be in it and likely to do well and likely Villa will be in it too. Villa probably won't do much though but could get through to the next stage.

I don't really give a fuck what happens in the Europa and Conference but we should get a better performance there.
