Europa League draw

Fucking bring it on. Its as cliched as you can get, but if we want to be the best we have to beat the best and Porto are the current best as far as the EL goes.

Winning this trophy would be a big deal, getting to play in the Super Cup etc. Cant wait.

Anyone know anything about Porto? Would be interested in the impressions of those who have seen them play. A bit of a scouting report as it were.

They have a player that is worth €80m. :P

Do we have a definate date for the away leg to Porto? Pretty sure i have that week off but i'd like to narrow down the dates!

I don't know much about the team but the city itself is a fabulous place to visit. Beer is cheap and the restaurants are quality, would also definitely recommend the port places for a visit. Stadium is a bit soulless but if pretty full there will be a decent atmosphere, its also fairly easy to get to. Good draw.

Yes, I was there for a couple of games at Euro 2004, pleasant city with good food and drink. The stadium is central and has a metro station next door to it.

every Cup draw we've been in this season has been astounding. Arsenal, Liverpool, United, Bayern, Porto, Napoli...any trophy that we win this season would be well-earned.

5 of the top 10 ranked teams in Europe with the chance of Chelsea in the FA Cup to make it 6.

For those saying this is the toughest draw, I would suggest they remember the problems we had with Napoli and remember that Lazio and Udinese are above them. A great looking draw to me interesting and challenging and not to far to travel.
