Yeh I'll go watch the boys but I want the prem title so much I'd fuck this off.
It's a trophy and another one that we can stop the rags winning, I know it's extra games but this is what champions ( and we will be )have to do.
It's good practice for next year when we are trying to retain the premiership and win the champs league please god, I'll be good I promise.

yeh course and would be great to win but not at the expense of the prem. dont even want to risk that.

I am with the not arsed with Europa camp.
It's good to play against the different teams and different culture of the fans but we have moved on and the League is our priority.
I can see Bobby playing a mix and match team for Europa giving the likes of Rekic, Suarez and Onouha a chance, he will rest the likes of Silva, Aguero and Yaya for this comp.

Is it just me that really really wants to win this. Most of my best City away days have been in the UEFA cup.
We were never going to win the Champions League but have a real chance at this. Throw in the fact that it's unlikely we're going to be playing in the Europa League for a fair few years i really hope we play a strong side and get to Bucharest.

Just out of interest (Sorry if this has been coverd already) If you were on the Champions League cup scheme do you automatically revert to the Europa cup scheme or do you have to sign up again ?
Only ask because IF we do play 5:00 on Tuesday afternoon, I 100% can't make it !

If we go all the way in the runners-up cup then we will almost certainly drop league points as a result, and that could cost us the league.
Anything that detracts from our Championship bid in such a manner is not a good thing.
We're not a club on a par with Fulham or Middlesbrough anymore. There are much bigger fish to fry.

No it's not just you, I enjoy the Europa away days too. While I don't think we'll be playing a full strength side in these games I doubt it will be a "Carling Cup" team either. Personally if we have to sacrifice one trophy to cut down on fixtures I'd play a weakened team against the rags in the FA Cup and prioritise the Carling Cup SF instead.

No it's not just you, I enjoy the Europa away days too. While I don't think we'll be playing a full strength side in these games I doubt it will be a "Carling Cup" team either. So you'd rather us play almost every midweek, see the team flying out to Russia and Ukraine rather than playing on four blank weekends in the most prestigious cup competition of them all?
