I’ve just found return flights via Belfast with Skyscanner for 483 Euros. 1 change there and 3 changes back. Ballache but a bargain!

UEFA are a disgrace to football. If 2 clubs from the same country play a final it should be moved to that Country with the selected venue put back a year.

Not strictly true, there's one flight per week on a Saturday evening, with Azerbaijan Airlines from Heathrow, just about to take off https://www.flightradar24.com/AHY008/207a66daNo direct flights to Baku from the U.K.
its easy for us to complain about a country like that getting a final, but they're part of UEFA, bid for the final, and they have the stadium for it.
What is wrong is UEFA giving both teams 6000 tickets, no matter how hard it is to get there, charter planes will be found.

Even if I could get a ticket, there is no way I could justify to myself shelling out 2k or more on 1 football match.

Personally if it was City, I'd find a way to justify it, and get myself to a place I'd never likely go otherwise, in fact I did 2 years ago, to go to Kharkiv Ukraine to watch us lose a dead rubber, and had a fabulous few days away with my son, a couple of nights in Kiev, and then in Kharkiv with two 5 hour train journeys, a great experience.
If we were in that final I'd have loved to try and go, Madrid is a piece of piss in comparison for the other 2, no matter the cost, had we got there, I was driving it.
