I sympathise, but that's no reason for Azerbaijan not to have a chance to host a final.
Personally if it was City, I'd find a way to justify it, and get myself to a place I'd never likely go otherwise, in fact I did 2 years ago, to go to Kharkiv Ukraine to watch us lose a dead rubber, and had a fabulous few days away with my son, a couple of nights in Kiev, and then in Kharkiv with two 5 hour train journeys, a great experience.
If we were in that final I'd have loved to try and go, Madrid is a piece of piss in comparison for the other 2, no matter the cost, had we got there, I was driving it.
People are different, and I personally could not justify shelling out 2k. I just couldn't. I'm already at odds with ticket prices in our own league, this is just taking liberties to a whole new level.
There is also suggestions that Baku's airport isn't equipped to handle 20 thousand or more fans coming through over such a short period plus the Visa issue (which they'll have to waive, otherwise its utter insanity). I have no problems with UEFA spreading out host cities as varied as possible so everyone gets their opportunity, but the logistics appear to make this an extremely poor choice as a host city.
