European elections results

I don’t think it did.

Nobody is sorting Brexit soon and all tonight will mean is embarrassment in Europe on our behalf, by creeps who represent the BP.

Remain has seen a huge surge and I’m now more confident if there were a 2nd ref, remain would walk it.

Its fair to say i disagree completely with that assessment of tonight's results.

Its not a surprise for a lot of us,not to vote labour is heartbreaking to many including my local labour councilor who couldn't bring himself to vote for the labour party which tells you just how the party seems not to represent the traditional vote under Corbyns leadership.
Well they were only projected to scrape 1 seat, which was what was surprising to many.

32% of the vote simply on the fact we haven't left yet. A protest party, UKIP in another name.

Labour change to remain and Brexit is dead in the water.

Good times.

Single issue election and yet the poll is under 50%.

Hmm.

Yeah, 37% a bit of a shocker, considering the country is apparently traumatised and paralysed by the whole Brexit issue, on all sides. If it matters that much, why wasn’t everybody taking the chance to either vote, for example, for the Brexit Party/UKIP or Lib Dem’s/Green ie parties with a clear position on the EU, so they could make their feelings apparent.
Bonkers, from the 63% who didn’t bother to go and vote

Single issue election, seen as the proxy second ref yet the last few weeks has seen us told that it wasn't the case at all.

Only in the heads of us leavers we got told.

Tonight, the brexit party sweeps all before it, London and Scotland aside and all of a sudden, we now are supposed to count all the votes of everyone else together and see it as a message that the country wants to remain?

It just doesnt work like that im afraid it really doesnt.

Votes for Tories and Labour where a complete waste of time tonight if brexit was your single issue and it should have been.
Not a real ‘people’s vote’ we should write the whole thing off as inconsequential.

You’re welcome to do so.

My views are based on Lib Dem/Green doing brilliantly.

Brexit Party obviously have as an outright party but the are now the majority of Leave.

Brexit is a "extreme" view. The general population couldn't give a shit or are nowhere near as passionate.

Stay in, come out, it's the "meh" vote. The ones who care the most are the ones who have been the most vocal.
