Wish the Champions League returned to a straight knockout competition.

There’s 55 member nations in UEFA. Every Champion of each nation goes through.

The 9 top Nations in the Coefficient rankings will also be allowed the 2nd place team in their domestic league.

Straight knockout from Round of 64. No seedings, open draw. Home and away legs.

11 matches the finalists would play.

It will never happen but that would make it more enjoyable. I hate what football has become.

Nearly, Gill suggests that Uniteds name is put into the pot 3 times, and they can request several re draws on minor technicalities after the final whistle

UEFAs attitude is exactly why I stopped going to CL matches a couple of seasons back. The whole tournament is rigged.
A return to the original European Cup knockout format, involving Champions only, would make it a genuine competition. Until then, UEFA can fuck off as far as I'm concerned.
