It’s a dogshit competition anyway, Uefa wanting to expand it to stave off a super league. The only time the champions league gets interesting is the knockout stages. The group stages are a non event with the seeding system ensuring the top sides go through, the amount of mismatches and nothing games from mid November as the group fixtures conclude.

If they want more teams in it get rid of the group games, turn it into an open draw and knockouts. People would tune in for that, however our friends who play in red in Trafford and Merseyside wouldn’t be happy in losing guaranteed money from the group stages.
