Going to United as part of their City 2.0 project ;)
They'd still have grass to cut and shirts to wash in League 2On a serious note.
Don’t you think it’s a bit strange that both the long serving grounds man and kit man have decided to leave the club so close together? Coincidence or…?
They train like a fairyutd have poached him, so he can give details how we train
Don’t think the new ground is going to have under ground heating and only 1 washing machine. On a serious note.

No need to get in a spin.Good luck to him but he shouldn't be airing this in public.
Came here to say this. He’s clearly well liked by the players.Looked like a big part of the dressing room, good mates with Haaland, Grealish, Foden etc.
Surprisingly a load of blokes in their 50’s can’t fathom young people in high pressure jobs might want some workplace banter.
From what I gather he worked under the previous kitman who worked at Maine Rd and Platt Lane, shame to see that link to the past and locality go along with the Groundsman.
People saying they have no effect on the success of the club, fine in that case employ some fly by night from Catalonia or Essex who’ll be off to United/Barca as soon as an extra 5k is waved under their nose.
Continuous improvement. The new head of grounds at City comes very highly regarded within the industry. On a serious note.

Could be just a coincidence or something else like when a new manager comes in and wants his own staff in place, would that stretch as far as kit man and groundsman I don’t think so but football has moved on hugely were managers bring computer analysts now as well ..On a serious note.

Exactly this. Sometimes the kitman can be a huge part of the morale in the squad. Always remembered seeing how the players reacted a couple of years after Chappy left the club on one of the city behind the scenes docs when he came back to visit one day. Nasri for instance looked genuinely gutted he wasn't still there with them.Came here to say this. He’s clearly well liked by the players.
On a serious note, er yes, purely coincidental. Why would it be strange? On a serious note.
