Ever Blue

I am not against having a seat for life, but not for 10year periods. Buy the rights to a seat at a set starting price, that gives you first dibs for that seat whatever the event at market cost forever. The value of that seat would then go up or down according to market forces (like the stock exchange). If you want, you can sell at any time.
The benefit to City is they get a big influx of cash and basically the same match day revenue.
The benefit to the fan is you are now an investor and when we are champions of Europe you can sell for a profit - as if you would.
But for 10years then give it back? No thanks City.

I told them no way Jose!!! I renew my seat when it comes time to do it and I want to stay where I am.............. did anyone else notice that the 'Ever Blue' questions came after they had asked you to put your preferences for buying a season ticket in numerical order? So if you put for example that the main reason for buying a season ticket was because you got a discount for the shop you would maybe be more likely to choose the option of letting your seat go for a free season ticket for x years or for £100.

Not happy about it City, I don't usually mind the questionnaires but don't like this one at all.

Also think it may be prudent to take bribe as they will only hike prices until fans háve to move anyway

I get offered superbia every year for all my loyalty in watching city all my life. I cant afford to pay the 2670 quid for myself or the same amount for my son.Thats 5340 quid for me and my lad in one lump sum. I would have got another 1000 points per season had i been able to afford this. Somebody who has the money would of taken up superbia in place of me and my son. Thus getting 1000 points a season.Buying points effectively?? My points were accumelated when we got 10 points a game. so money can purchase 3oo games worth of points. This EVER BLUE seems like another shafting of us GENUINE FANS!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Level 2s be prepared to pay top wack or be moved, it is obvious what this is about, they want to achieve as much as they can out of match day revenue and the only place where they can get £800/£1000 per season ticket is in Level 2

It is a sad fact of modern day football but corporate is where the money is at, we fans are victims of the clubs success, and unfortunately we will have to pay our way if the £400million turn over that the top brass want to achieve, is achieved, and where better to start than the seats that fans have already agreed are the so called posh seats by the way of accepting previous schemes
Agreed. People have had different surveys dependent on where they sit. My survey just sounded like they wanted me out of level 2.Other people have been asked questions about third tier expansion. It really sounds like they want to make Level 2 the expensive seats when they expand the stadium..

I put that in the text box at the end, that if I knew what it was leading to I wouldnt of bothered.......Not been ripped off. Leeds tried this scam. Look what a mess they're in

Given the overwhelmingly negative response to this thread, I can't get my head around how the recent 'tourists' thread could have received a mostly "tourists are great news" response.

They are one and the same issue. A dislike of 'tourists' is nothing to do with xenophobia or wanting to be 'the biggest blue'. It is a dislike of a concerted and gradual effort from at least certain parts of the club to introduce schemes/prices that give more opportunity for a demographic of people who have nothing to do with this club's past to get hold of the tickets and less of a chance (usually, but not always, by way of prices) for long standing, tradition fans to get their hands on them.

The crime is that it is not even like there is not demand, at a reasonable and fair level, amongst long standing fans to more than fill the stadium and more. But gradually reducing that demand amongst long standing fans seems to be a coincidental side effect of many things happening at the club. Strangely enough, that will mean more tourists in the stadium. Funny that!

I have skipped through this thread and read various points.

It would appear to me as quite rightly the club are looking at ways of increasing revenue and it looks like this survey is cleverly questioning peoples future aims.

If you get 20k say yes we would buy a seat in perpetuity then no need to expand as the revenue is covered, if 1k say yes, the only way revenue can be increased is by expansion.

Sounds like clever targetted marketing to me.
