i think £100 extra on this years but you get EVERY cup tie at home chucked in, including UCL games is a good deal but like i say that may be too much for some.

That would be cheaper than what it is now.

true but if they had all season ticket holders having already paid and then managed to sell the remainder then surely they'd make more money than what they do now?

especially in the league cup and FA cup.
If its an option then great, if its compulsory then a big NO.

Question is what is their plans for level 2. As mentioned if they are looking at making side on level 2 all corporate after the ground extension they will need to accomodate those already in level 2 in new seats. I can only assume these will be Level 3 near the front as they won't put them behind the goal. There could well be alot of forced seat moving going on if that is their plans.

nail on head but some will sit behind the goals and the family stand on level 2 is the first place they'll target :( so it'll be front row level one pissed wet through or in the gods ;(

i think the only way we're going to become what we want is expansion.

do it, and do it now city.

Can't find anywhere else so i'll ask in here.

Has a date been announced for renewal and any prices been mentioned?

Paid roughly £520 plus an under 16's season ticket (gold) this season and wonder what it'll go up to,CB level 3.

His will be the 16-19 bracket now and not sure what they were this season.

I'd rather they thought of the supporters first, and not money making, the core of our support cannot sustain £100 here, £100 there, especially in these economic times, so any compulsory including of other matches at significant extra cost should be avoided at all costs, it will tip many over the edge of not going. However this may be what the clu want, as it frees up more matchday tickets, which bring in significantly more money, as the tourist type fan buys merchandise, see old trafford on a matchday. If we go too far down that road, we'll lose more than we gain imho.

actual standing sections or the whole stadium being expanded is the only way to make money and keep the supporters happy by keeping costs down.

it's a huge must imo mate. i hope the club do the right thing, i really do.

Here's my suggestion as an alternative to the 'Ever Blue' idea....

...build seats, boxes, restaurants, bars etc on Level 4 (the roof) where you watch the game on big screens (as probably unable to see the pitch from up there). Just open the windows and soak up the atmosphere and smell of burnt Balti pies from below whilst you sup Dom Perignon during the game.

Each time someone buys a Jeroboam of bubbly in Level 4 a free season ticket is awarded to someone in Levels 1/2/3.

How does that sound?

guess i'm looking at around a grand for the 2 then............

i know my brothers is cheaper than mine and he's 16/17.

i don't think as much as a grand but i'm guessing.

obviously will depend if they go up again.

Maybe I'm missing something in your posts, but are you advocating the club add all cup ticket prices to current prices, and make it compulsory ? If they do, we might not need any expansion.

Another in a long line of appalling ideas from the club......making the whole of the North Stand a family stand and forcing thousands of fans to move..........introducing Platinum/Gold to enable people to buy loyalty points......increasing season ticket prices by 2/3 times the rate of inflation year after year in a global economic depression

We could make a few quid by getting rid of the tit who comes up with these bizarre schemes. I informed them
It was a daft idea with little point and if they would like my seat I would accept a free season ticket for life, chauffeur driven transport to the games and a pair of carpet slippers. They're not the only ones who can come up with silly suggestions.

They said 'No' to the slippers !

If this were not such a serious issue that is indicative of the intention of some at the club to change to deliberately change the make-up of the club's support by eventually pricing loyal fans out, it would be extremely amusing to see some previously very loud mouthed advocates of "tough shit, I'm alright, Jack, if prices force people out, fuck them" and "filling the stadium with tourists (at the expense of people who used to occupy those seats) is brilliant" whinging about this.

We are talking about a Road to Damascus style conversion here with a couple of hypocrites.

Fans will be forced out of level 2 easily by simply increasing the price over time. I like most fans have a finite amount of cash that goes towards my main pleasure in life that is going to football with sons. Once my limit is reached we will just be forced to walk away and watch from afar ie pubs / tv.football is deemed sexy at the minute but times change and city need to be careful that they don't bite the hand that feeds it.

Or the hand that fed it when it was starving!!!!
