Ever Blue

You have to agree to move seats. Nobody can make you move as long as you continue to purchase your season ticket each year as you do now.

That's what I thought. Is this changing then ?

Yeah thats now what happens in the future when billy deep packets wants your seat

More proof that someone at the club is a complete **** and their remit is trying to get the fans to either pay a shit load more or fuck off to make room for someone who can.

A scheme where you are asked to pay a load more money to sit in a seat that you would be sitting in anyway. But you can say that you own the rights (only you don't, cos you have to pay the season ticket price every year) and some tourist/demographic they would rather have in the seat, can't turf you out.

Note the question along the lines of "What price would you consider 'too good to be true'"?

You have to put an answer. Lovely little question that would allow someone to say "Well, look, they said it was too good to be true at this price.

Basically told them I'd never move seats and asked if they were trying to turn the club into Arsenal Mark2 with £100+ seats.

This idea will be the brainchild of some arsehole in the marketing dept with a "bright idea". Hopefully enough strong responses will kill it.

Just checked and i have the pleasure of this survey in my inbox. Now where's my big "shove your stupid idea up your arse" pole

Reading the start of this thread I thought I was the only one who read it like that. Thankfully I'm not alone.
Some over reaction going on here. Nobody will be forced to move. You have to agree. And everyone around me has been sat there for years anyway. I go with the same 3 people so we have our seats anyway. And as I said at the end, why would I need to pay this new membership if my seat is guaranteed by me renewing every year.
The only thing I see is the possibility of passing on your seat to a family member. But that too has no real benefit for anyone.
A complete hair brained scheme I agree. But one that has no real legs to it.

I haven't had an email yet, I doubt some rich **** would pick my seat 117 anyway, unless he fancied getting his head kicked in.

Jesus it's like a comments section of the Daily Mail this thread.

NOBODY IS GOING TO FORCE YOU TO MOVE FROM YOUR CURRENT SEAT!

The survey clearly says you have to agree to move seats before the club do it! So even if the club goes through with the scheme, if you don't want to move, you won't have to! If you can be bribed to move seats then that's your prerogative.

I personally don't see the point in the scheme but there you go.

There are a few on here who would gladly pimp their seat for 1000 loyalty points.

Being a season ticket holder is getting a bit weird. Not used to having to make these decisions.....

It's not just season ticket holders who are getting this survey. It's blue members too.
But as already said, it is a nonsensical idea to pay one lot of money (unspecified) then pay for your season ticket.

The point is to get fans to pay money for nothing. Just like they have for 'ticket priority', fees for 'membership' and being able to buy loyalty points. All stuff you used to get for free if you were a season ticket holder/member anyway.

Some scumbag at City spends a large portion of their time trying to dream up ideas to squeeze City fans out of cash, without actually genuinely giving them something tangible that they didn't previous have or that isn't just actually penalising people who don't want to pay the extra.

But it still says that the st holder has to agree to the sale
Why are the hyperbolic idiots missing this point?

I'm not missing the point... it's still a shit idea though.

As I said previous, I'd only move for Safe Standing. This area would also have to be cheaper per person (as you can place more people in the area than seated)

I only go for Atmosphere if I'm honest.

Just sat there, on a padded seat, not saying anything in a quiet place sounds like my Armchair and the day this comes is the day I wave goodbye and hand over my SC to JCL (Sold Trafford Mark 2)

I'd move for a free SC next year.
I'm not that attached to 107.

Sadly this seems spot on. There's no real need for Ever Blue or Platinum schemes.

Honestly I find it all a bit off putting.

Stupid Idea......But i would move elsewhere if they give me a FREE season ticket, I expect my ST to be close to £700 next season anyway.
