Ever broken any bones?

Yes, left knee and dislocated my right shoulder in a motorcycle accident, I had to keep going to the hospital for my cast to be checked out, because it was the summer I rode there on my push bike, the nurses stood open mouthed when I told them I had pedalled there with my good leg with my broken leg dangling at the side.

Broke my right arm 3 times as a kid, twice with my right wrist, in 3 separate incidents between the ages of 5 and 15. The first time i fell off an old tractor in a farm yard not far from where I lived, the second and third were football related.

40 ish years later, my right wrist is nigh on useless, I have debris in the joints, and will need an op for a clean out. I don't fancy that very much, so will live with it for the time being.

I've posted this before but Alan Potter(yes, the fat ****) celebrating an equaliser at Huddersfield in the cup landed on my ankle and broke it,the lad driving us home got me to strap it up at the St.Johns,as he had to get back.
I had a couple of Anadin and a skinful but jesus the following morning was agony.
A few playing league and football, worst was a broken sternum at Oxford Park goal posts playing for the Gardeners against the Pineapple.

Fell off my bike when I was thirteen and broke my arm. Went down a steep slope called devils drop, hit a step and went flying head first over the handle bars. Stayed in overnight at trafford general and had my arm in plaster for 7 weeks.

My word there are some patched up blues on here!! A drain on the NHS :)

Seriously though some painful stories, ouch
