I’m just seeing that we have international friendlies after Everton. Why then do most of our lineup suggestions have a lot of rotation?

Quaterfinal match vs a good side as Everton has the potential of ending our quadruple hopes if we treat it casually therefore rotation is only needful if there is no significant drop in quality otherwise we put our best foot forward. My revised suggestion would be;

Steffen
Walker Stones Dias Cancelo
Fernandinho
Bernardo Gundogan
Sterling De Bruyne Foden

A bit unfair for Gabby but the midfield maestros have been so good lately, who would you drop?
Play jesus drop sterling

Of Course, I hope we win and knock your guys out. Then we gone on and lift the cup

However, I just cannot see us beating you. Hoping the score is kept down to be honest

Still, with fingers crossed I shall cheer on the toffees and gladly be proved wrong if Loki can roll out his mischief and allow us to win. Alas, I fear even Loki does not hold enough power to get us past city this weekend. Excuse the overuse of Norse gods. I was just trying to add some drama.

Whatever the outcome. Good luck, and I will still like you guys whatever the result.

I see a lot of names like Torres. Ancelotti is a famed master of cup ties. Since there is an international break coming up (granted many of our players will feature) we do not need to much rotation.

If a championship side were 10 minutes from beating us in a cup tie recently, it would be naive to think that we can just run over Everton and with the form they have shown this season, they will be a very very strong opposition.

I truly didn't expect us to lose to Arsenal last season. I was astonished at how poor we were. And how relatively good they were. Anything can happen. If we want this trophy — and for me the F.A. Cup still has great prestige — we're going to have to take this tie very seriously.
Yep, we've been headless chicken. First match vs Arteta and somehow it influenced Pep and players.

No special factor this time with Everton, except they are poor at home... ;)

Win the game and as a reward players can dream of a perfect Wemberley pitch in a semi. Not too shabby!

Pep has to play our strongest 11,which I think was the starting 11 on tuesday.
We have one league cup game left, a possible 3 f a cup games left and a possible 5 champions league games left.Hopefully players can be rested in the premier league when it's done and dusted.
Yes. Realistically 5 competitive league games with the , hopefully, 9 above. 14 games between now and late May. Time for the strongest team at every opportunity

What Championship side? City dispatched Birmingham quite easily. It was Cheltenham of League Two who caused the most problems for City.

i think pep goes with jesus and aguero again up front steffen will play in goal and laporte and maybe garica or ake will be defenders
I usually pick the team I'd play rather than the reality which Pep might go for. Agree that Steffen will probably be in goal and was thinking about putting Ake in as Canc needs a rest but think this is going to be harder than people think. Heart wants Sergio to start but bring him on from the bench later on in the game....
