Define pissed up the wall ? Id say the Trophy cabinet disagrees
It was Everton who pissed the money up the wall, we got a couple of bargains , a little bit of sarcasm goes a long way on Bluemoon

They would be wrong in every instance. It's nothing to do with how many players available, it's all
to do with who could be infected and could transmit the virus to others. Listen, the people at Everton are not idiots and have very professional medical personnel themselves. This is just the media trying to drum up a shit storm.
Everton added to this with their badly worded statement
Really fuck em.For f**k sake!....
Why make the “request” public? Why did they not wish the infected well?Everton are within their rights to see the reason for the decision as it was at such short notice. And the PL will probably tell Everton that they are in unusual and unique times and risk of contagene of Everton players was the reason for cancellation. Its plain to see there is no advantage to be gained by us having a fixture pile up. All the City fans on hear getting over excited about Everton's club statement is over the top, I just read Everton's statement and its a reasonable request.
Ridiculous post and implies someone who is on man city payroll. Newcastle handled it with class unlike City. Everton is right to request the report and if negative test comes up the game should be played Thursday unless over 14 are out.
His post is OTT, but then the statement issued by your club really missed the mark so you can see why that might occur to a fan base that’s been the brunt of snide attack after snide attack from the press and other clubs, both at home and abroad. Not pleased then bud?
If that happens it will fuck up the league and its precious tv companies!Looking at the situation in the lower leagues this is a key moment in the balance between COVID and football. It will take one maybe two more premier league clubs to have outbreaks like ours and a league postponement is on the cards.
You definitely don’t need to know the name of the player if they don’t want to be revealed. All reports said 3 players plus 2 previous so there is no basis for postponement that is just 5 players out of a 25 man squad. What might make sense to ask is why have the City players' names not been released? We now hear Ederson (who else)
I am not suggesting Everton are saints here AT ALL, but I wonder if they feel:
1) The total players City would have out for the game would NOT be enough to postpone the game
2) City waited until the last minute to announce the cases and then be vague because they knew this would allow for a postponement
3) City are doing this basically because they would have lost several key players at the very last minute which would put them at a disadvantage in a huge game but they agreed to the rules for COVID so they should have to deal
Am I missing anything else?
I can also list critiques of ALL 3 of these views.
I'm wondering if Bein, Sky, BT and whoever else has broadcasters has a brain at all.Bein sports have supposedly said your request to postpone the game was initially rejected then you appealed.
Im wondering if Everton have been informed of the rejection and told by the PL that the game was going ahead as normal (prob due to the stupid 14 available players rule) then all of a sudden at 4pm got told it was off.
Im sure more will come out on this either way but its unusual for us to put something out like that without something in it - we arnt usually petty.
Anyway im sure more will leak out soon and we will either be justified in calling out the PL or look a bit knobish.
Whatever has gone on behind the scenes at least the right call has been made. Other fans screaming forefit need to remember that this could happen to them at some point soon.
