Everton (A) | Game Postponed

City offered facilities for the NHS at the Etihad campus at the start of the pandemic and (as far as I am aware) have continued this since. I think it would be reasonable for City staff to be prioritised for vaccines in acknowledgement of this. Not having to regularly test staff would save resources. City's medical team could be trained to administer the vaccine in City's own medical facilities so the impact on the NHS would be minimal.
Then that would be seen as preferential treatment, sorry but a football team is just like a any other business they wait their turn.

Is that true ?

If it is firstly I can see clubs not being honest about any outbreaks. Secondly it will a complete joke of the league.

Cant be true ?? Surely
In rugby league, Warrington were given a 24-0 win when Salford couldn’t fulfil their fixture due to covid n’all.

I can’t believe there hasn’t been a drive to stop spitting in football over the last six months. The amount of diving and injury feigning where they’re all rubbing their heads on the floor with their mouths wide open with fake agony in the spit of other people, is mental during a pandemic.

You ever been to the gym and seen people on the treadmills spitting on the floor? No me neither. It’s not needed, it’s just some stupid culture that’s conditioned into footballers from being kids.

When someone spits near me in the street (even in non-pandemic times) I call them a filthy ****.
It absolutely baffles me why Pep does it. He isn’t running around but he occasionally hoiks one out.

And so it begins..

John Pulman: I was meant to be going tonight so I am beyond angry right now. If City can't field a team then they should forfeit the game. This isn't like last season. They all know what they have to do.

Before the season started, the PL chairmen voted that it would be finished on a points per game basis if it had to end early. That’s another title for the dippers and no null and void.
Thought that only kicked in if 75% of games had been played (29 out of 38)?

Lot of Liverpool fans getting their knickers in a twist over this believing it benefits us and that the game should go ahead if we have 14 fit players.

Obviously the game hasn't been postponed due to a shortage of players. It's on public health grounds.

Also, I think with James, Allan, Digne and Richarlison all out, we would have probably preferred to get this game out of the way now if we could. They'll probably be back to full strength when we do eventually play them and we also face fixture congestion because of it.

UEFA statement just released City Paid to much for covid and so a FFP investigation has been started !

If there is any substance to the rumours that London will be placed into a special T5 in the New Year as its running so out of control there then surely there can be no games in London and that it for now the game is up season postponed?
Common sense agrees with this statement. Football and Money disagrees. Football > Money > Common sense.

I'm failing completely to see any funny side of this, especially with the risk of long Covid for our players.
Report the post then.

Covid has given one of my mates life changing side affects and that's his attitude to it as well. Give in to it or take the piss out of it. It's a personal call.
No decision yet, madness if this goes ahead same for the two cup games Birmingham and rags ..
The rags will get a bye because they are the rags.
