Everton (A) Post Match Thread

listened to radio Manc. - one player who was magnificent - FERNANDINHO - was mentioned at least 235 times. - What a player.
He probably won't get MOTM - because other players were also good - Merlin , Kev. etc.
Would love us to go back to Merseyside on Weds, and win 3-1.
Happy he didn't pick up a yellow.

Ex-England manager publicly advocating fouling Sane to prevent the second goal. Based his career around those sort of tactics.

Why is it stupid question? Oo2d played sure but I'm just not a massive fan of him. For me he slows down every game he plays in. His speed of pass is just not on the same level as Merlin, KDB or even B Silva. But I accept he has come back from a bad injury and may improve.

I think it's the fact that we cruised to 3 - 1 win, away from home and you have to criticise a player who only played around 15 minutes,
when we had already taken our foot off the ball.

Brilliant first half performance.

Well I did post in the pre match thread after chasing shadows for an hour Rooney would get pulled off ;)

Hardly his fault today though. The way he was tactically utilized, he was bound to represent a major weakness in Everton's system. Rooney could have never coped with the realities in midfield, in terms of pace as well as numerically. Which was good for City. 100% Allardyce the man to blame here -which he admitted by subbing him early...

Do you think he is as quick a passer as the other creative midfielders we have?
