Everton (A) Post Match Thread

brilliant display against a packed team again - only negative was Ferns as he did absolutely nothing after he came on

Great win... Bogey team no more.
note to self—-) avoid matchday thread!

We may not have the flair and goals of the centurion and fourmidable team but this is seriously impressive. 17 straight wins 10 points clear in this current climate with players missing and fixtures stacked up. Credit to Pep and the players. I didn’t see this coming 2 months ago and fair fucks to them. Brilliant

Job done. Tough game that and for 60 minutes too many players wasn't at the races, so to come way with a comfortable win is testament to the strength of our squad and the ability for everyone to have the potential to step up when needed.

No gundogan, no kdb, foden and sterling both having crap games, no problem, Bernardo continues to be everywhere and mahrez steps up with a telling impact when it was most needed.

Its easy to win when everybody's on fire but to do it so comfortably having a performance which can be considered below par of late is brilliant. Ominous signs for the rest of the league watching on at that. Felt Sergio could have got 10 minutes but its not a massive deal. Next.

Manchester City have won their nine Premier League matches in 2021 – they could become the first team in top-flight history to win their opening 10 matches in a calendar year, breaking the record of nine wins set previously by Bolton Wanderers in 1906 and Manchester United in 2009
As well as rebreaking the most consecutive wins with 17
City breaking records weekly for fun
It feels like we break another record every time we wake up in the morning.
