Everton (A) Post Match Thread

I thought that it was quite even first half but we stepped it up in the 2nd half and Everton couldn't live with us.

Fair play to Mahrez he played really well, particulary 2nd half.

I thought Rodri & Bernardo were brilliant too.

I thought Walker wasn't great first half, but he played well 2nd half IMO. He played a great pass to Gabby.

Brilliant to see Kev back on the pitch too.

Overall really good result which puts us 16 points ahead of the greatest team the PL has ever seen! Mind the gap!
 
What a fantastic performance, after a run of playing some of the lesser sides we totally schooled Everton.
On a side note, bit concerning that Sergio still isn't getting any minutes, not that we need him at the moment.
 
I'd say pep is tearing his hair out with cancelo.

Does some brilliant things but for everyone of those he does a few absolutely daft things. He won't do against teams that are as good as us I fear
 
Re what I said about Richarlison in the previous thread - a player who's good for Everton might not be good in a team who are way ahead of us in terms of quality. Lukaku, for instance. Barkley as well. He was a big fish in a small pond at Everton but not at Chelsea. Richarlison is perfectly fine for where he is but would struggle to get into the first team at City. It sounds like I'm giving City a tongue bath, but I'm not. I'm just being honest.

Rooney and Stones are exceptions though.
