Grim day that. Tom Davies running through our defence like Diego fucking Maradona.
God, we thought we'd discovered the next major talent and a future England star.
Hung around like a bad smell, just checked it out, 179 appearances
...I reckon at least 160 must have been as sub to wind the clock down. Amazingly he turned down the final contract to try and get first team football to his credit
Still only 26yo.

I think we will win today 3:1

----------------Ortega---------------
Lewis---Dias---Gvardiol---O'Reilly
--Gonzalez----Kovacic----Gundo--
KDB-----Marmoush--------Grealish-

TBH i think they should have had more than the draw at the Etihad, they cut through us like butter down the sides only to fluff it in the box, were a little more organised now so in going for five goals 2-3 to City

Just reminiscing about Goodison Park, my first time was the 1981 FA Cup Q/F, Unbelievable atmosphere and the emotions when Paul Power equalised was Unforgettable but also I remember a midweek League Cup Q/F and being in the upper tier of their Main stand, very steep view and a naughty night coming out, lost 2.0 but great memories....anyway I am going to bed a bit pissed in preparation for my last visit to Goodison Park....C'mon City X

My first time at Goodison. Always remember meeting the Everton fans at the railway station. There was going to be a punch up until a portly City fan with a beard took it on himself to challenge Evertons hardest out. They endied up scrapping on the railway line.I think the police came and sorted it out
Re the game, always remember Dowd in net, can't remember scouser Tony Coleman scoring for City. Remember taking the piss out of Alan Ball, who then duly obliged by sticking a 20 odd harder past Harry. Most Everton fans then, were 6'4" broken nose dockers. They really gave us some, not forgetting grounds weren't segregated then.
Happy days.

Some good shots in the attachment of Buzzer and George Heslop.

I really liked that maroon kit.

This is a biggie today (you could even say "massive"). Arguably our toughest remaining game*. One of the last few games at Goodison, so the crowd will be rabid. Which will egg on the team. We'll need to ride out the opening half hour or so. Hopefully, our supposed superior class should then begin to tell. I'll take a scrappy 1-0 win right now. Though I'm not sure how the nerves and the ticker will take the last 10 minutes in such a scenario.

*Away at Fulham could also be difficult, though we might (hopefully) have a top 5 spot confirmed by the time we kick off there. The Villa game will also be huge, obviously. But given we have home advantage, I'd be cautiously optimistic of getting the three points.
