Think some need to realise that when we make a number of changes to the side we often lack that cohesion as a side, the Southampton carabao cup game springs to mind,Everton are still fighting for their lives and are desperate for any sort of positive result be it a win or draw,we can technically afford a loss and a draw would be ok as well, think I’ll just wait till the team is announced before trying to predict hopefully a positive result for us ..

We play a style that is obviously pretty difficult for players to get their heads round. One shot, one goal isn't because Ederson is shit, it's because if/when we lose the ball in certain areas of the pitch, we're completely open to the counter.

Look at Grealish last year, he was shitting his pants almost every time he was on the pitch. He didn't want to take players on in case he lost possession and just played the ball back to where it had come from, time and time and time again.

And he was on the wing!

Rodri was the same when he started. So was Gundogan. Both were too slow.

Defensive-midfield/pivot/whatever-the-fuck you want to call it, is pivotal to how we control the game and Rodri is our most important player on the pitch. He's almost the only player we've got who reads the game as well as is needed for that position. Phillips is just shitting his pants at the minute, you can see it in his body language and shape whenever he comes on. It's too much for him right now.

Today aint his day.

I hope.
I think there’s zero chance that Phillips will start today.

I hope we rest at least 6 main starters today the rest will come in and do the right job ,gonna be tough game but we are too strong for these

They'll be all giddy for the first 20 mins and the crowd will be right behind them.

We'll still win albeit a scrappy game.
Yep; they'll channel their inner Vin Diesel in the opening 20-30 minutes. Come through that unscathed and we should (repeat, SHOULD, not will) win as our better quality should prevail as the game goes on.

If it wasn't true, then he'd have played him.has explained why he hasn’t played. We saw aplayer that had what we think he needed, so obviously not a shit player.
Pep has explained why he isn’t playing and it wasn’t ability, if he was shit I think we may has spotted that from watching and playing against him.
Whether he has the mentality or intelligence , or as Pep said the belief to learn and understand a position so pivotal to us, thats another matter. We’ll see.
