I think this will be a very tough game for us. Having said that, we have had a stroll in the park tonight whilst they are at Spurs tomorrow. We simply have to win this game. How we do it doesn’t interest me. The win is all that matters.
Yip all about putting pressure on those in front, also sometimes without playing creates that pressure as they know what might be coming…

Hopefully. We are still having some very sloppy moments even in games like tonight. We really have to cut it out because there is no room for error as Palace showed. Hopefully Haaland back,

I hope that Alvarez's game tonight will not mask how bad he really has been in the last month and thus create a place for him in the team against the jerks from Everton. I'm asking for more legs in the middle of the pitch, Haaland in the lead to move the entire gravity of the game towards Everton's goal. Someone from Nunes, Kovacic must get a place in the starting 11.
Christ on a stick. One of the worst posts I've seen on here

And I thought I was a moany old git. I’m going to give him some leeway, it’s Christmas and we’ve all posted some shit before and regretted it.

Everton - Bogey team. Always a tough place to go. Chilly, midweek under the lights. The Dyche effect.... Could be a nervy 90 minutes, potential banana skin...

3-0 City win, Pickford hat-trick of own goals.
The last time they beat or drew with us at Goodison Park was 2017.
We have won there the last 6 seasons, with a goal aggregate score of 14-3.
Some bogey team.

Not sure Haaland will be fit for this. Apparently, he hasn't trained with the team yet. He is likely to be ready for SU, though. Same with Doku. Expect KDB to play some minutes vs Huddersfield. If not Huddersfield, then the game after Newcastle away, as that would be a physically fierce game.

Does anybody know when the squad is back in blighty? I hope it's today and they can rest up and get any remnants of jetlag out of their system. I'm hoping the extra day could do us good because Everton looked goosed against Fulham midweek. Mind you, we've also looked jaded in the last few weeks ourselves. Huge game.
