Everton and David Moyes (merged)

Re: David Moyes

What upset the ginger whinger most was that he lost credibility, he thought it was up to him who left the club and it obviously wasn't, he had to do as he was told by Kenwright. The fact that Hughes didn't ring him personally rankled with him because he's not as important in transfer dealings as he thinks he is.
Managers say which players they're interested in and the ceo's do the deals.

I can tolerate ALL things RoyalBlue. I drive Toffees to the game at Goodison, I bought a ticket for a Toffee when Cahill got on the end of 'Richard Dunne's' needless corner for the last kick of the game, but Moyes showed his true colours in the manager's notes for the away game. Ignorant, bitter, and I suspect that the MCFC/Jolenoninho grudge will be borne to the grave. Don't think he'll have Dolly Parton's 'Jolene' when the curtains open and he's done to a crisp!
Tell me something, do you think after the last 15 months or so that it would still be safe for a Everton fans to sit in the home end now?

Nowt much wrong with Everton fans. Deluded a little but same kind of outlook as we have - big noisy neighbours next door etc, but Moyes, dearie me.

I think they would be safer in the home end at CoMS than City fans in the Gwladys.

Moyes played the psychology card over Lescott. They got an inflated price for the player who was instantly replaceable but he used the whole affair to try to build a siege mentality at Everton, in the manner of his hero Ferguson.

Didn't work initially though as it upset them more than boosted them. No surprise to see him bring it up again but it's losing its appeal now and could easily backfire.

Moyes was not happy about the way the deal was done. A bid had not been accepted, your manager was talking about the player like it was a done deal and generally Moyes was being treated with little or no respect.

He stood his ground.

What would want him to do, roll over like some week-willed, yes man. He fought his corner and stood up for himself and his club. And quite right too.

Give him as much shít as you want, he won't be ársed one jot.

Yer quite right BlueMeanie1878 he's an arrogant ignorant person. And I wouldn't want our man to roll over and be trodden on, but he got more than top dollar for Joleoninho. Once the money was in the bank that should have been the end of it, but for Moyes, no. He didn't let go and wanted to take a swipe long after. Petty minded and puerile.

I have a lot of time for EFC but not a second for your manager.

He got caught out with his "gentlemens agreement"not to play Howard.
Manchester United's dream of their first Premiership title for four years was under a cloud last night with the revelation that they face a Premier League investigation into goalkeeper Tim Howard?s £3 million transfer to Everton.
But United face seeing a season of triumph descend into chaos. In the worst-case scenario, they could have points deducted if they are found guilty of breaking the same Premier League rules under which West Ham were massively fined last week.
It was announced in February that the move was to become a permanent transfer. But it is understood that Everton agreed not to play Howard against United this season, and when the two sides met at Goodison a week ago, the American?s place was taken by second choice goalkeeper Iain Turner. The 22- year-old made a crucial error, allowing United to start the fightback which led to their 4-2 victory.
Documents lodged with the Premier League when the transfer was agreed between the clubs make it clear that the permanent deal ran from February and that it was no longer a loan.

With Tim Howard out injured Turner faced Manchester United at Goodison Park in April 2007 but ended up somewhat embarrassed. With Everton leading 2-0, Turner made a blunder to let United back into the game and to add insult to injury former United defender Phil Neville scored an own goal as the Red Devils won 4-2.
Bent as fuck.
